The Speak My Language state and territory coordinators are responsible for implementing the program in their state or territory.

Teresa De Leon
NSW (former)

Teresa has worked in clinical and nursing management for 20 years. Recently joining the National Team for ‘Speak My Language – Living well with disability’ and as NSW/ACT Coordinator, she also has extensive program and change implementation experience in the public and private sectors.

Hanaa Grave
SA (former)

Hanaa Grave is the Speak My Language State Coordinator in South Australia. Hanaa commenced working for the Multicultural Communities Council of South Australia (MCCSA) in late 2020. Prior to this, she worked as a disability projects coordinator in Melbourne where she gained extensive experience around community development in the disability space. Hanaa has a background in working with refugee and asylum seeker communities across several countries. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies and a double Master’s Degree in History, Sociology and Anthropology.

Denisse Gonzalez
NT (former)

Denisse currently works in the Multicultural Council of the Northern Territory (MCNT) and is the Speak My Language Coordinator for NT. She is originally from El Salvador and has worked in community engagement projects with international students, as well as completed community development and policy internships with Aboriginal organisations. Prior to joining MCNT, Denisse assisted individuals with their mental health recovery journey, and helped humanitarian entrants settle well in Australia.  She recently completed Master of Social Work.
